I recently received 1/500 diecast ASIANA airlines plane, Contrary to Illustration when buying, The plane was in A GHANA airlines box, in addition to which the moulded plastic container in which it came had no lid but was held in place with paper sticker that had been taped to the container. I contacted the seller Johanchan primarily asking for the correct box 1.e. ASIANA airlines his response was that the box for GHANA airlines was the box it came in. 1) the photo that was on the original ebay advert clearly shows the plane sitting on a box with the description ASIANA airlines, Miguel or whatever his name is of Juanchan disagrees with this which is unbelievable since the photo clearly shows the correct details, this is gross misrepresentation and false advertising, 2) In Juanchans description he states that the box has never been opend, as I said above the platc didn't have a lid in addition although the box was for a GHANA airlines how did he know the plane inside the box was ASIANA. He disputes my observations, to insult to injury he offered a minsicule discount. I am not wanting to return the plane nor was I after a discount. Ebay should know that collecting diecast planes is a hobby and hopefully an investment to hand over, eventually, to my 2 sons. I have bought planes regularly through Ebay and have always been satisfied with the service particularly with Graylands and Toylandbay. As a collector a plane in the wrong box is worthless who have always been honest and treated me fairly. I am disgusted with Juanchan phoney attitude and his dishonesty. All I want is the correct box.
