I joined InterNations via their AppleStore subscription platform, by paying an annual subsciption fee of $99. Very quickly, I realized that the website was not what it purports to be. In fact, it's useless, by design. For a company with so many paid subscribers, one might think they could invest a little in the product they are selling.. but it may as well be 1995. I called to cancel, they sent me to Apple. Apple refuses to refund. Regardless, InterNations got the money that Apple collected, after fees. I only asked for a pro-rated refund of what was left after fees. They refused to help me. When I later posted a criticism about them, explaining what had happened, on their website, they deactivated my account. So now, I can't even access the service I paid for, if I wanted to - and they still refuse to offer any refund. That's unethical. On top of that, their staff in Munich are lazy and rude. I think they must sit around all day, drinking beer and laughing at us.
