Items missing from online order

I placed an order a week or so ago with joann.com. The order was coming in 2 shipments. When the first package came, all the items were loose, with No packing around anything to keep items intact and keep them from banging around in the box. The one item was damaged, but I choose to just fix if myself with some hot glue. When the second package came, that is when I noticed I was missing 2 items from my order . I immediately contacted them via a Chat. And here is where things went South for me!!! Instead of them just sending out the missing items....because let's be clear here....it was THEIR mistake ...THEIR fault. They proceeded to tell me they can't just mail out my missing items !! Instead here is their policy for these types of situations: 1. They will issue me a refund for my missing items (which I got on sale at the time) 2. You have to wait 3-5 business days to get that portion of your money back 3. In the meantime, they want you to go back online, and reorder those items ( that are No longer on sale) 4. And now put out more of YOUR money to place that order for items your had originally ordered. ( putting all the burden of THEIR mistake back on YOU, the Customer.) 5. Then because you are paying full price for items you originally ordered at a sale price, you now need to email them to ask for another refund for the difference between the full price and sale price.... 6. So you can wait another 3-5 business days for that money too. User's recommendation: Shop somewhere else.
