I started my account back in the summer of 2017. First, I was very hesitant about the site. Never tried online dating before. I had only one photo and a simple description of myself and what I like. I had hundreds of guys messaging me within the first week. I couldn’t view the messages because I was not a paying customer. Three weeks into my account, I decided to purchase the 6 months subscription for a discounted price. I viewed all the messages and there was one profile that stood out to me. I reached out to him and we had a lot of things in common. Went on several dates until we made it official. I decided to deactivate my account within my 6 months because I was taken. Found out he still had his account on and was active within the last 12 hours. He told me that he forgot to deactivate it. (Liar) So dumb me decided it wasn’t a big deal and continued with the relationship. We dated until December and I called it quits because I found out he went on dates with another girl from the site. I was about to just give up with the online dating thing period. People can be really fake not only in their profile but in person. So another guy reached out to me a week after my breakup and I thought he was too good to be true. I mean he’s very educated, athletic, and handsome. I am just an average looking girl with a baby face. We talked and met up several times. There has been two incidents where I felt he was taking advantage of me. His goal was to make me think that there could be a relationship between us. I thought things were moving too quickly and I found out that his goal was a one night stand then ghost me after his trip to NYC. Be careful with who you talk to...they will say things to make you feel a certain way and hurt you at the end. I am in a great relationship now...this time I did it the correct way of finding someone. It’s a lesson learn that not everyone was made for online dating like myself.
