Issue with the Return policy

As the products are delivered online, there should be an option to return the product if the customer is not satisfied with the quality/design/material. Once the product is delivered only then we will know the material/model delivered to us. In return policy its mentioned 7 days return from delivery which is not being taken into consideration for the products I have placed as there is no damage or missing parts. All I get to hear is as per the policy return is not possible. It will be better if the policies are updated and return option is available if the customer are not satisfied with the products (if the product is unused) as online purchase is the only thing we rely on with the current situation.
