Is this legit?

I am watching the Kentucky Derby. They advertised TwinSpires with a Get200 promo code. I was excited to bet on the races, nothing too big, less than a visit to Amazon.com. But, I couldn't actually set up an account online. Once I gave them my info, birthday and last 4 of SSN, I then had to call them to finish setup, and they wanted me to email three pieces of ID to a random email. This is crazy! I am not living is a betting-restricted state. I found it very odd that after giving them personally identifiable information, they wanted more - three pieces of id by way of unsecured email! WTF? User's recommendation: Good way to have your identity stolen.
