My mother who was in her mid 70's and I brought 2 out of town guests to the location in Eastlake, CA. We asked about specials and ordered according to what we were told. However, at the register, we were told that we needed a coupon. Our 2 guests had already been served and were eating their ice cream. The manager did not honor the price we were quoted, raised her voice at my mother, argued, and refused to give the customer service phone number. I called on my cell phone while I stood out front, and asked for the number as well. The manager said that they were too busy to find it for me. Of course, with the exception of a couple who were already eating their ice cream, we were the only customers. I filed a formal complaint with the AZ headquarters 3 times, and they did nothing to rectify the situation. When someone called me from the Creamery in Eastlake, It was not to apologize. Apparently the manager told the owner that we had taken the ice cream without paying. My plea was for them to view the video footage to see the truth. Had they viewed it, they would have seen that we left the ice cream on the counter, the manager yelling at my mother and refusing to give the customer service number. Anyone who had been in the right would have given the number.
