Iriver/Astell Kern no reply on warranty

I have been emailing iriver at the address quoted on the warranty card that came with my AK70 MKII for a couple of weeks. No response what so ever??? The issue I have is minor and to be fair, I think I know what the problem is. When the device is in the official case, the notification bar is not accessible. A combination of a piece of leather of the case and an air glass screen protector are to blame. It works fine out of the case, but not in the case. The strip of leather is just in the wrong place to touch the screen and drag . They will likely say it's due to not using the AK screen protector. My issue is no reply from iriver. I can still use the player, although they have charged me £40 for a case I can't use. What if the device was dead? Totally inadequate service, well ZERO service!!!
