Update by user Oct 03, 2019 Was called by a rep, given the wrong number to call. Anyway, I found the correct number to call. I am a physician, who has had 5 of 5 Molina claims denied under some pretext or another. I finally spoke to someone, given totally ridiculous reasons as to why my claim was denied. I resubmitted based on that. And now it is denied because supposedly time for filing is past and I am too late to file an appeal. And this is after I have file repeated appeals, for denials for bogus reasons. I have decided to quit Molina. Their only mission is to deny claims, resulting in doctors leaving their network, but they keep selling their policies to patient's under false pretences. Original review posted by user Sep 18, 2019 On some pretext or the other, a claim I submitted for a Port-a-cath placement is being denied. First it was wrong modifier. Resubmitted with corrected modifier. Now reason for denial is bundling, when there isn't a CPT code that it can be bundled with. Exact same claim for same surgery on another Molina patient was paid. Either their claim check software is lousy or set up so that claims get denied, in the hope that the provider will give up and not resubmit.
