Insurance claims not valid

I have been going to Gerber dental for a little over a year now. Back in April I was told I needed a crown on a tooth and also the tooth behind it needed work. I had the crown work done which normally happens in 2 visits , not there. In the meantime in July , I got a really bad toothache on the tooth the crown was on, I got an infection . Went back the next day to see what was wrong , saw a different dentist than the one who did crown. He stated I needed a root canal and said the tooth behind it never had any issues. I got a bill for the dentist that had seen me from Gerber for an evaluation. Called and said this is related to the same tooth I shouldn't of been charged. Billing said it was a different dentist so why they charged me. My insurance denied the claim which I knew they would . Your only allowed so many evaluations I questioned it because their should of been no charge. I had the root canal done and now still having issues with the tooth . Dentist said I needed to go see an endodontis . I explained to them that this wouldn't be covered by my insurance, the dentist at Gerber said if it wasn't they would pay for it. Anyhow it wasn't covered so now I'm stuck with $120 charge. THe billing department at Gerber claims they never said that, and the tooth still isn't right and now they want me to go see another specialist. The billing said they don't guarantee their work. THey charge you for every little thing but don't guarantee their work. What kind of company does that?
