These insulated snow boots were given to me as a Christmas gift. This would have been about 5 years ago. I am currently 75 years old and we live in Louisiana. The boots were used only when I snow ski with my children and grandchildren and for no more than 30-45 days since I got them. Please note the lack of wear on the soles (see photos attached) I sent the boots to The North Face with a letter of explanation and they were returned to me with a note that they warrant footwear for one year from purchase. It appears that this was a major failure in material or workmanswhip and I would hope that The North Face would replace the boots
