Inflated Prices For Generic Medications

1

I was talked into using their Medicare prescription plan and it was the worst possible move. My Fioricet prescription when purchased at the local mom and pop pharmacy is $80.00 WITH NO INSURANCE AT ALL. When the same prescription was called into CVS who is partnered with CVS - the co-pay was $129.00 which they said was because I haven't met my deductible. Clearly - they artificially raise the cost to discourage customers from buying needed prescriptions so they won't ever have to honor the terms of the contract - but continue to collect your monthly fee.
