Inexperienced and inconsiderate

1

I submitted an application for a Commercial Listing and Transaction Manager. I completed the first step to the interview process and then I asked about the salary range. I then explained the range I needed to be in. Guess what? I never received a response to that and instead I received a new email stating that they cannot go forward with my application. Staffing companies like PRO R.E.A create additional barriers and layers to the interview process that waste a lot of time. It’s also inconsiderate to not go into salary expectations but expect me to list references and spend a deal of time interviewing for a position that might not even be appropriate for me financially. At the end of the day, it’s a wonderful opportunity to work for a great company and that is always at the forefront of my mind. However, if in a city like LA, they’re looking for someone with 10+ years of Real Estate experience and a Bachelors degree BUT are starting at 50k. Of course that’s not at all a good fit and I want to know up front.
