Ineffectual Joke
2
The CFPB are nothing more than an intermediary. The CFPB actually does very little to protect consumers other than pass along complaints. No action and lazy, which seems typical of a government agency. Every complaint is a series of emails, nothing more, nothing less. From issues, with insurers, lenders and companies of varies industries, apparently the way to get things done is not directly and through email through another entity/organization. I don't understand why such and organization would exist with a $605MM budget that actually doesn't do anything for the average citizen. It's sad that something exists explicitly to protect people and it doesn't actually do that.
