How do I file a complaint with the federal reserve on incorrect information given to me during a loan application process, including incorrect information about percentage rate on my HE loan. Loan officer told me that the rate on the papers was not the actual rate and I was going to a lower rate. I was told the loan would be 2.99 % the first year then 3.5 % She convinced me the the rate was just calculated differently and I signed the papers. Now Im stuck with a 6.75 percent rate. Much higher than the 5 I already had. I even asked her point blank before I signed if I was getting lower rate because the papers I was signing didn't indicate this.
