Wanted to get into r/c planes, so we traveled 2 hours (4 hour round trip) to Green Bay's hobby town. Checked out the beginner planes and asked a lot of questions, and the employee was very helpful. Decided to buy the Timber plane which is a bind-n-f!y plane, so had to buy the controller, battery and charger. Bought the Spectrum dxe controller, went home and set it up. After doing so, binded the controller to the p!ane easi!y, everything worked except the flaps would not retract, staying in the down position. After some research, found out I now have buy some kind of cable and do a firmware update. This is ridiqulous. I should have informed about this. Spent over $400.00 on this package and still have not flown it. Seriously thinking about returning everything . Not happy.
