On May 12, I went to lunch with my two daughters to the Johnny Rockets located in the Fl mall Orlando. My check came to $43.82 I gave the server my Visa card plus $10 cash, he asked if the cash was going towards the check and I told him that the $10 was his tip since he gave us a good service. (Which he did) He was very grateful and thanked me. When I looked online for my transaction I noticed that on May 14 the restaurant charged me $51.23. The server added $ 7.41 to my check 18% even though I gave him the $10 cash and I wrote a 0 on the tip line, I also wrote in the total amount which was $43.82..I called the restaurant on May 15 and I spoke to the manager, he told me that he was going to speak with the general manager. Later the same day I got a call from the general manager telling me that they were going to investigate what had happened. I got a call back again the same day from the general manager apologizing to me and telling me that they were going to refund the $7.41 back to my account. I have not received the refund yet as of today. I believe that what the server did was illegal and malicious. I will definitely make a complain with the better business bureau if I don't receive my refund this week. Johnny Rocket has lost a customer for sure! I guess he wanted more!
