illegal nsf charges 5 on one day & I was not overdrawn
*SOLVED

3

recently opened a checking account because of the promotional "free" $100 ---- made deposits, etc. and used debit card to fulfill 6 of the 10 transactions needed to qualify for the $100. According to my records and the online account I was fine and my balance was never negative. According to the bank site at Cub Foods, they "POST" the transactions whenever they feel like it and they claim I was overdrawn and proceeded to charge me 5 nsf charges of $35 in one day. I fought with them and showed them proof. I then asked why the card would not have been declined that day. They said I opted in for not having the card declined -- I did not. Why would I do that knowing I'd get an overdraft? Also Cub Foods did reject when I had $.45 instead of $4.92 but they still say I opted in and blah -blah - blah. My acct. should have $2.00 and they say it is NEGATIVE -$171.00.
