They can cut off your service because of a 'leak'. What was their evidence of a leak? My bill did not change. So they sent out their subcontractors to move the meter and relocate the gas line under the house to hook into the new meter location. Sounds so easy right? No. Now you must have a 'whole house inspection'. Which should be ordered by the plumber who did the work- subcontractor. Subcontractor will not order it and you will not get any plumber to order it because its not his work. So now i got a Mexican standoff on my hands!!!
