Ive been having an ongoing dialogue with Lorex since September when they rolled a new app that wouldnt work with my system without a manual fix. They subsequently issued a firmware update to address the issue but that bricked my hard drive. They offered me a replacement (which was a downgrade) but from reading all of the reviews from similarly affected customers this actually sounded positive. Needless to say it didnt show up and the customer services said, when I chased, there was a problem with the shipment. That was a month ago. Customer services have stopped responding to emails. As this is a Canadian company with no UK entity you cant even them to a small claims court. Its amazing they are still in business when they treat customers like this and clearly have a hopeless system development team that roll out updates and patches with out proper testing. Appalling. If youre outside of Canada or the US you have no recourse.
