Ice maker is making a noise

It has made a noise for a very long time after the third drop of ice. So Ive taken it off the shelf and its going to the trash today. Igloo didnt have an answer and the company couldnt get me to the correct people to get it serviced or replaced. User's recommendation: Not this machine.
