I paid my account in full and was not credited for my payment and it has already cleared my bank. I have spent more than 6 hours on the phone trying to get this straightened out.

The answer I get is "we have not received the payment". But it has cleared my checking account so someone received it. I've had to turn this over to the legal department of my banking. In the meantime, I am out almost $500.00. I feel that I have been treated very unfairly and discriminated against because I am an elderly white widowed female. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what legal action I can take for this kind of discrimination?
