I purchased a home in Mesa,Az on Feb. 22, 2007 at 1566 No. Sinova. The lender was Southstar Funding, LLC. They promptly sold the loan to EMC. The loan amount for the 1st mortgage sold to EMC was $240,300. I retained the original loan documents from the purchase date of 2/22/2007 through 8/15/16. At that time I moved out of state and following my retention of these docs for 9 years and 6 months , I disposed of the docs. For that reason, I do not have a loan number. I am, however, willing to provide my social security number and other identifying info in order to obtain copies of the original loan papers. The IRS contacted me in 11/17 requesting copies of the loan documents related to the purchase of this home ( 10 years and 10 mos. following the purchase of the property and 4 years and 9 mos after the bank foreclosed on the property.) I urgently need your assistance in this matter. A single parent of 2 children, the IRS is holding a debt of over $30,000. over my head.
