I just read a contract from Iuniverse it was just a unilateral contract not a bilateral contract which they are not committed to nothing. You the author are committed to everything.

Happened last year. The contract is ambiguous at best and is one sided. Iuniverse does not have to do anything just you the author. It is a unilateral contract not a bilateral contract which means they didn’t sign it, just you the author. You are basically signing your life away and they are not obligated to do anything. This company should be investigated by the Attorney General for its business practices. Buyer beware.
