I went into London Drugs this morning to buy a Waterpik. The cashier immediately tried to slam me into an extended warranty for an extra 10.00, claiming that it would extend the factory 1 year warranty to 3 years. I declined (knowing that extended warranty plans are just a profit center for the retailer) and verified when I got home and opened it that it comes with a 3 year factory warranty. This kind of misrepresentation guarantees that I'll never buy from London Drugs again.
