I depend on Life Alert to assist in my caretaking when I’m not available

I just wanted to take a moment to thank your company for being there for us this past year. Although I wish we did not need to use our Life Alert unit, we have had to use your service multiple times this past year. You have been there assisting my wife during those challenging times. Having Life Alert is one of our best lines of defense in protecting [us]. It’s been worth the price. To give you an example, I’m retired and have been my wife’s primary caretaker. Wednesday is the one morning I play golf in my retirement league. It’s the one morning I get a break from taking care of my wife. Most Wednesday s, when I leave, she is still in bed asleep. I’m home by noon as she is just waking up. On this Wednesday, while I was gone, she went to the bathroom. While there, she fell asleep and fell off the toilet – bumping her head. She could not get up. Using her wristwatch, she contacted Life Alert. The operator was very professional. She contacted the Fire and Rescue, who came and assisted [my wife]. They also called me on the golf course. Although the golf course is on the other side of the city, by the time I got home, paramedics had been there, gotten her up, checker her out, and already left. They were that quick to respond. She was fine – more embarrassed; she had fallen asleep and fell. Afterward, the call center called that afternoon to follow-up with a call to check on her status. Situations like this happened multiple times during this year. I can’t be home 24/7. I have limited my time out of the house weekly to golf and going to the grocery store. That is why I depend on Life Alert to assist in my caretaking. Recently, I upgraded to the newest version of your system. I want to thank the agent for taking the time to make sure everything was switched over and working correctly. Sorry for the delay in replying, but ‘life happens when you’re busy making other plans.” If you don’t know who said that, look it up!
