I bough t a gIft card from Onondaga wegmans for 450$And now it hasn’t been activated why

I bought a gift card 920050****440 from Onondaga wegmans earlier today I put 450$ dollars on it plus the 5.95 activation fee I never got to use the card for anything and it says no balance is on it and Im trying not to get the police or my lawyer involved in it but the supervisor from wegmans neglected to give me the assistance I want so someone needs to do something to give me my money back or something
