I am complaining about a repair that was never done, no update on status, being given the runaround and being given false information.

These are the work order numbers that I was given 00572-[protected], [protected], and [protected]. My computer has been in Best Buy's possession since early July, I was told when I brought it to the store in Metairie, LA that the mother board had died. I paid to have files copied to an external drive in which I was told that he first order number was applied. I followed up on the status and went to the store when I saw the message that the device had been picked up because I did not have it. I was told that the computer was sent out for repair. Since that time, I have not received an update and began to worry because I had no idea what was going on. I have since called this number several times [protected])beginning on August 13th. I was given the second number and was told to call back the next day, Saturday, and give the person who answered the second number. Well, of course, no one answered even though another message said they were open from 8 til 5:30. This message, however, stated that they were closed. I called back Sunday only to get the same message. I followed up with the call on today, Monday, August 16, 2021 only to be told that there was nothing wrong with the computer and that the store in Metairie called to tell me to come pick up the computer. I have no missed calls from Best Buy or Geek Squad for Friday, August 13th. That agent also told me that the problem was the cord not the computer. He told me this lie several times. I decided to use your tool and check the status using one of those numbers and saw that the status bar showed that the repair was half done and that the device was in a Best Buy in Missouri City. I am currently on hold with an agent trying to figure out the problem. I am deeply concerned and disappointed with the service I am receiving. I purchased this service so I would not have to worry about problems with my devices. You have obviously hired individuals who do not like their jobs and will do as less as possible. However, they represent you. I do not know what my next step will have to be but I do know I have paid for the device and a service plan and I am not getting satisfaction from either. You should really check your customer service because it stinks!!
