I am charged on my credit account for item returned, and sent a gift card for same, what a pile of crap!!!

I returned a item to the Bay for credit to my account, they in turn issued me a gift card for same and charged this amount to my credit account. I do not want a gift card and find this business tactic very unsatisfactory, I'm not impressed with Hudson Bay, to say the least. User's recommendation: Stay away from Hudson Bay!!! Especially online.
