I purchased this AWDHusqvarna lawn mower from Lowe’s in Kansas City where I live May 9, 2019 and the engine blew up four months latter. The mower was taken to an authorized dealer here in town per directions from Briggs Customer Service for inspection and the findings were submitted. Briggs informed the dealer the engine failure was not their fault even after the dealer told them based on what they found, the claim should be reconsidered. However, they said no again. I called Briggs directly and basically I was told too bad it’s not our fault. I told them I would never buy anything with a Briggs engine in it but they didn’t seem to care. If any one considering purchasing a lawnmower with a Briggs engine in it would be wise to take note of this horrible manufacturer decision. The message is clear from Briggs “Don’t expect our engines to last more than four months” Ralph Watson User's recommendation: Don’t buy any lawnmower with a Briggs engine in it.
