I purchased Square Trade 2-Year Printer Protection Plan with my printer on 10/04/2017. In April of this year I kept getting Error Code 59F0 and was instructed to turn the printer off and back on. I checked this problem on the internet and found many complaints about this problem. I filed a claim with Square Trade and sent them the required documents. I received a response from them and was informed that I had 3 options. One of the options was that they would send me a check for $379.00 and that it was not necessary to return the printer. I chose that option and was informed they would be mailing a check in approximately 5 days from May 29, 2019. Relying on this information, I purchased a new HP Color Laser Printer $399.99. Today, since the check had not been received, I followed up with Square Trade and was informed that they had no record of their commitment to pay $379.00 and that I had to call their technicians when the old printer was on line. The reason for this complaint is for you to stop selling this Warranty to business customers, since it is absolutely worthless. I can not be without a printer for an hour and certainly not for more than 2 weeks.
