Hose failed in less than 3 months

The hose broke 6 inches from the end after 3 months of use. I never, ever leave the hose under full pressure. It's controlled by a timer, and the end always has an open sprinkler attached. Nice idea, but these things will need replacing in far less time than a regular hose. User's recommendation: nope, don't do it.
