Horrible treatment by claims examiner

They repeatedly send and request medical updates – which I can understand. But the doctors fax the completed updates to the company and they repeatedly Deny ever getting them - The doctors have proof that they have sent the facsimile to the company because it is date stamped and timed. So of course the claims examiners deny the claim and that makes your money late . When you are sick and disabled you need to rest and recuperate and heal. The amount of harassment causes you to be sicker and sicker . The claims examiner went so far as to say oh you need money? Well you better off buying a lottery ticket ! This is so callous and uncompassionate and unprofessional . I am just shocked that the company are used to work for uses them as a vendor for their product for short term disability and long-term disability . I just think every single person should know what they’re getting into when they start paying premiums to Lincoln financial .
