Horrible service/lack of communication

Have had decent service over the last several years but the last 2 months have been horrible! Started with no garbage pick up over the holidays. I let it go 2 weeks before calling thinking that the holidays delayed things. When no pick up after the 2 weeks I called and was told that my pick up day was changed....no communication of this was sent to me. Funny how I all of sudden got notice the next day and my garbage was picked up. Then with the weather, twice I didn't get garbage pick up for 2 weeks. When I called, they said due to weather and would be picked up soon, and they did but again...no communication that there would be a delay or what happened. Now, my garbage wasn't picked up last week and I called, I was told the driver tried to pick up but my can wasn't out. Flat out lie...my can was out the day before. When I said that my can was out the day before, the rep went into a big speech about how cans need to be out at 6am...I had to repeatedly say it was out and that it was not picked up. And, just an FYI...there website says 7am, apparently they don't even know their own policy. They also hit my fire sign and bent it down to the ground, never acknowledge that they did it or offered to fix it. When asked about being charged for all the missing weeks, I was told that they couldn't take off charges because it isn't their problem. When I said that I wanted to cancel my service I was told that they will need to charge me $25 to pick up the garbage can. Unbelievable...they can't just pick up with last garbage pick up?? It wouldn't be out of their way as one of my neighbors still use them(btw...my neighbors all had Advance disposal, now it's down to one). Don't know what happened but will be getting a different service.
