Horrible Products,terrible customer service
Bought a french style sliding door in evansville, In. for 3K. The door has dark poorly fitted top and bottom rails, that show very noticeable blacklines where the the rails and sides meet, tried to fix this issue 3 times, just made it worse.WINDOW WORLD OF EVANSVILLE, YOU HAVE A QUALITY CONTROL PROBLEM WITH YOUR MANUFACTURER ASSOCIATED MATERIALS. Joe Bush the, franchisee owner offered to put in another door, of less quality in a e-mail, then reneged the offer. My favorite statement he made was, "the functionality is what is concern, there are "tolerances" which make the door acceptable." I am paraphrasing, but have the e-mail with the exact quote. At this point they have nothing in their inventory that is quality made that I would have in my house, bought their top line sliding door, the rest are even more poorly made. I have read review complaints from all over the country of which the same reverberates-Poor quality and even poorer customer service. I am done with them,I will eat the loss and work with a reputable company I can trust. Don't take my word for it Google Associated Materials,Cuyahoga Falls ,Ohio and check out their "stellar" performance, they are NOT BBB accredited, meaning they cannot/will not abide by the BBB rules for conflict resolution.Window World is the "fast food" of the replacement window/door market and marketing outlet for these substandard products. Buyer beware.
