Update by user Mar 15, 2013 Since this report the Public Advocate got involved and according to information from her the issues have almost all been attended to, except the nursing issues of lack of empathy and signing sheets ahead of time schedule. Original review posted by user Feb 12, 2013 I stayed in this hospital for 3 nights and experienced a terrible experience.A high percentage of nurses not caring, and with no empathy. Nurses handling my IV with no surgical gloves on. Bed sheets not being changed when soiled. Linen and trash over flowing onto the floor. Nurses throwing soiled gloves onto the floor. Alarm button not working. Nurses signing the check on patient sheet for all hours at the beginning of each shift, but not checking every hour.Air conditioner duct was filthy with black grime.Food was good and nicely served.I was glad to get out alive.
