Horrible Customer Service – Expensive

After almost 20 years with Dairyland and not a single claim, Dairyland insisted on charging me a new policy surcharge when I was a week late in my annual renewal. Moreover, I learned that Dairyland does not bother to send out a cancellation notice when your policy lapses! Fortunately I did not have an accident on either of the two days I unknowingly rode my bike while uninsured But guess what? The above prompted me to explore alternative insurance providers. I ended up paying 30% less for exactly the same coverage with another motorcycle insurer - 67% less if i purchase only a six months policy which Dairyland does not permit. If you're with Dairyland, you'd be well advised to explore the competition!
