Horrible Customer Service and Trucks

BWe booked a truck over 3 weeks before our move. The day before the move they said that they didn't have a truck available at our location and we had to drive 35 miles to pick another one up. We arrived at the location and they provided us with a truck, however we had a feeling that it would have issues when we looked at it, but they said that was the only truck they had. Our lease was up that day, so we couldn't extend it without having to pay another month and we were already scheduled to move into our new home, so we had to deal with it. We drove home, loaded up the truck and got on the freeway. About 20 minutes into the drive, the AC blew out in 100 degree weather, the truck wouldn't accelerate and the RPM's went down to 0. We were on hold with customer service for over an hour and no one answered. We then pulled over and got a hotel in the hopes that we could reach them via online chat or through the online roadside assistance help center. No response. We tried calling again and no one would answer. At this point, we are struck in the middle of no where, unable to reach them despite every effort possible with a messed up truck. Im beyond frustrated with them and money keeps piling up with how much I am having to spend on hotels, food etc while we wait for them to never answer. I'm 400 miles away from my new home and a broken down haul truck. User's recommendation: Go with Penske. Never use Uhaul.
