My opinion: Horrible experience. Had to resend documents, what they needed was clear as mud. When they finally said they got documents, they said that it could not be a photo. Told to resend again by fax. So, how can they tell that a fax is not a photo version?!? I would give them a zero rating too. HORRIBLE experience!!! About four months later, and still don’t have a determination. More than 22 years of hard work for my employer, and they chose this company. You can have a short-term disability, and you can keep paying premiums, but will not get insurance coverage from Lincoln? Check out the 2017 legal activity. They merged with a competitor, lost a bunch of contracts, got sued, raised costs after their financial losses (meaning reduction of profits), and got sued for that too. The less they pay out in 2018, the better for Lincoln, and too bad for you. My experience with them has been awful. If you can go with a different company, you should consider it.
