I went to a local furniture store and to purchase a mattress and a tv stand which came to 390.00, i purchased the items through Crest and when i asked the retailer about a lease agreement he stated that he had to contact crest for lease details. The retailer also had lay away which i put down a deposit and gave the retailer my information. The retailer put my application in with Crest and took my checking account information. They asked when i would like to take delivery. The furniture was delivered the same day and when i asked crest about the lease they said i should have gotten the lease from the retailer. After paying on this bed and stand for 6 months the pay off went up by $300. I called crest and they told me that since i did not pay it off in 90 days there are additional leasing fees!!! i explained that i never signed a lease agreeing to these terms and they said i digitally signed the lease which is a bold faced LIE.....i am not contacting a lawyer because this is illegal and the store won't take the merchandise back because Crest already paid the the actual cost of the mattress and tv stand!!! i am beyond PISSED.
