Last year I had a horror story happen to me, not only that doctors recommended surgery on my mom that was too old to have it but after surgery and dying none of the hospital nurses told us to pick up the body and after telling us she needed an autopsy we kept waiting to be called to pick up the body. They left the body in the hospital morgue and when I called the hospital had agreed to give the body to my brother with a financial power of attorney and IGNORING my directive . After much drama and calling the funeral home that the hospital had discharged the body finally it was giving to me after one month of her death. The hospital APOLOGIZE and assured me they will give me $7000 if I signed a document not to sue them. I did but never received the money they agree to pay . A woman by the name KATE LOCURTO was supposed to work for Cedars with the company SEDWICK which is the company that deals with claims NEVER send the check and ignored all my emails. Not only I had to go with the horrible news of my mother's death but also burying her after one month and Cedars have been irresponsible and CRUEL. Cedars were not a good hospital as they said and a lot of things went wrong with my mothers to care, and they did not even have the class to honor their legal agreement. Avoid this hospital if you can. Sedwick is also a company that can't be trusted User's recommendation: Go to other hospitals and dont expect Cedars to keep their word.
