Honda Military Appreciation Reward

Last week I was ready to buy a new CRV and the dealer told me Honda was offering a $500 military appreciation reward after I agreed to a full price offer. When I arrived to finish the deal, the dealer told me that to get the military appreciation reward I would have to finance with Honda and pay a higher interest rate. As a military person, that really pissed me off. Honda wants to show their appreciation but only if I pay more for the SUV. Needless to say, I did not buy the SUV (I have previously purchased 2 hondas from that dealership). I will not purchase another honda. They really appreciate my service.
