So the staff at mission hospital tonight 3/17/19 on the 3rd floor are uncaring, and homophobic, *** especially the one called Amanda!! After spending last night and all of today with her wife sleeping on the same bed, my daughter was ejected from not only the room but the entire hospital all due to the Amanda nurse not liking to see the two women laying in bed together! Even after my daughter explained to this Amanda nurse they arent from the area that they, dont have a car, and my daughter had been told she was ok to be there by every other staff member, this homophobic staff lead by the amanda nurse still had security escort my daughter out of the hospital!! As for it being policy then she shouldnt gave been permitted to stay last night or to lay in bed with her sleeping all day today! Now shes stranded in a city none of us are familiar with; its dark and cold; she didnt have time or presence of mind to grab money before the ambulance took them to the hospital so she hasnt any cash and no one on the hospital staff cared enough to offer up any food or to help find a way to get her back up to the antelope valley!!! Uncaring. No compassion. Homophobic. Not the qualities one looks for in a hospital !
