So I fed the flowers to the hogs Now my goats eat everything from old shoes shoes to newspaper. But they would not eat those dead flowers and I am wondering why. they would not. There must be something extremely weird about these flowers so that my goats wont eat them. This has got me concerned because as I stated earlier they eat anything.Are these flowers treated with something that my goats can sense, I do not know. Last year I received a sunflower bouquet from a friend through this company.After the flowers faded I carefully harvested the seeds and planted them. I had a grow lamp and watered them regularly and nothing grew. I am upset because I greatly enjoyed the flowers and wanted to have them again but did not want the expense of purchasing them. I recently called their customer service and complained that the seeds of their sunflowers were defective and that I wanted them to send me a free bunch of sunflowers so I could harvest the seeds and try again.
