Hightail are holding onto to third party emails and spamming them

Hightail is a service which requires you to sign up to recieve a file from someone. Yes you have to actually set up an account to get the file someone is trying to send you. So Hightail is phishing for all your details and password in order to do this simple function. Ofcourse I declined and never gave them any of my details. However Hightail are now emailing me with marketing info telling me that I am signed up with them. This means they kept the email address of mine which someone else used in trying to send me a file and now without my every giving them permission they are treating my email as their property and abusing me by spamming me. How dare they. Dodgy service - avoid!!!! If they keep emailing me I will be reporting this to the police.
