Spokeo makes it non transparent as to account status. I have attempted to close account do to spokeo not living up to my needs. I still got billed again. There is no way to look at account status or apparently to stop billing. I had to inform my bank that any spokeo related charges are not at my request. Besides being ineffective in searching they charge withing informed consent
