I am writing this letter in hopes that you can help me fulfill a promise to my grandson Lavell Brock. Last year I was blessed to be able to take my family on a dream 7-day Disney Cruise that allowed them to go to all four Disney parks for a day. Unfortunately, due to no fault of his own Lavell was turned back and was unable to go. This trip was supposed to be for his and another grandsons’ birthday’s. As you can imagine the level of disappointment was severe our hearts were broken, rather than disappoint all the grandchildren, I promised Lavell I would take him next year. Well next year is here and my situations have changed, Lavell is now living with me. I don’t have the funds to be able to keep my promise to him. I would love to be able to just tell him “next year baby “I don’t know how much more heart break this child can take. His sisters were pulled away from him, then his little brother and now his mom. I don’t know how many disappointments an 8-year old boy can take without believing that all adults do is lie. I am a believer in there are no accidents, and everything happens for a reason; I just don’t want to disappoint this kid again. Disney is great but they have a lot of rules, I must use his voucher within a year, and I must pay for the vacation in full before they reimburse me the amount for his ticket. Please can you give me some help, even if you can just give me some advice, I would appreciate all the positive feedback you can give.
