Hard to get a refund for medical reason if you did not take cruise insurance
Booking number 4NGD65 29 Nov t0 2 Dec 2019 cruise. On 22 Nov 19, 2019, I went to Cleveland Medical clinic in Vero Beach Fl for an extremely bad UTI which resulted in a Foley catheter placement. This infection was the result of a cystoscopy button procedure on October 16, 2019. Between the 22 and 25 Nov, I was in and out of the emergency room heavy bleeding and clogging of the catheter. I was finally admitted to the hospital on 25 Nov for treatment. I was released from the hospital late on the 27 Nov, with instruction from my to stay in the local area at least a few weeks to make sure I was healing. My cruise was out of charleston S.C. which is approximately 7 1/2 hour drive from Vero Beach, Fl. I have sailed with Carnival Cruise line at least several times before. My VIP # 534-957-****, My wife # 241-35*-334. I did not take the cruise insurance due to the fact I never have missed a cruise before and did not foresee the medical situation. I really would like to see if I can use this refund if given be used on another cruise out of Port Everglades, Florida for a future cruise. My Dr is Christopher Tardif, Md at 3450 11th Court suite 304, Vero Beach , Fl 32960, office phone (772) 794-****. My name is Eugene Blair .(772)492-****. my cruise consultant Nicholas at 1-80*-819-**** x 82917 really went out of his way to help me with my request. He was shot down by his supervisors. It a shame this has happened because you will find out I have sailed with your cruise line quite a few times. Thanks Eugene R Blair
