On June, 2011 we purchased two recliners from Hancock & Moore. These were two expensive chairs but we had a previous experience with quality so we decided to go forward with these two beautiful pieces. Previous experience: Years ago (80s) the Boston area had a store called the Leather Center. We made a purchase there and well, these pieces lasted so long that we became to hate them. The furniture just would not die. In fact, they're still here, downstairs in the cellar, unused, gathering dust, still looking good but out of our style. Why mention this? ...because our Hancock & Moore chairs are an embarrassment. The leather is falling apart. I did not contact Hancock & Moore as I kept the documentation and it specifically states the warranty does not apply to the finish material. So be warned, H&M may look great but their leather does NOT stand the test of time.
