Grievance Redressal – Complaint Registration number A 0605********.

Dear Sir, I purchased an Intex TV from Spencers' Shopping Mall , at New Town, Kolkata. TV started malfunctioning within Warranty period . Complaint was registered . The complaint number is A 0605********. There after we have made regular and repeated follow up with your service centre. Your technician came and we gave him Rs550/- for his visit. In fact the technician reported thrice . He could not repair . Then , we were told that TV will be replaced . The TV came from your outstation centre and had been lying with the service centre at Kolkata for a week , as we have been informed by the person of Kolkata , Service Centre. The reason was it was big TV so they could not arrange transportation. All calls and conversations with your customer care are recorded for future reference. Thereafter on the date of delivery , we were advised that the TV is broken in transit. More than three months have elapsed . We have only received assurance without actual remedy. We have been subjected to a huge mental agony for IRRESPONSIBLE ATTITUDE DURING this long period of time . We do not not know whether your technicians are capable of repairing the set. Have we made a crime by purchasing an INTEX make TV. WE HEREBY CLAIM COMPENSATION OF Rs1.00 lakh for the harassment and agony inflicted on us . Subhasis Chaudhuri Kolkata 983326****
